Almost daily, I get the question: “where do you thrift?” So, I have complied a list of my favorite thrift stores in the Philadelphia and surrounding areas.
- 2nd Ave Thrift Store: There are different locations in Philadelphia and South Jersey, but the one I typically go to is located at 163 Franklin Mills Boulevard. They have a huge book section, which I love because that is where I find most of my books that I use for styling, vintage frames that I used in my bedroom corner, and vases for my florals! 2nd Ave has a great rewards programs and they have two colors of the day, in which one color is 33% off and the other color is 50% off, so if blue is 50% off – any items that you find with a blue tag will be 50% off. Anywhere that offers extra discounts, you can find me there!
- Liberty Ministry Thrift: very affordable & they have a huge furniture section (probably the biggest furniture section I’ve seen yet). To my knowledge, there is only one location in Feasterville-Trevose, PA. They also have a rewards programs and send my coupons almost weekly – an extra $5-$10 adds up when you are shopping at a thrift store š
- Goodwill: you can find locations in Philadelphia and South Jersey and I’ve heard the South Jersey location does $1 Sundays! I do not believe they have a rewards program, but their prices are already extremely affordable, so I do not think it is necessary. This is my go-to thrift store if I am short on time and passing by. The location on Red Lion Road is on the smaller side, but perfect if you want to feed your thrifting fetish for 30 minutes to an hour.
Well, there you have it! I am sharing my go-to’s when it comes to where I thrift. If you visit any of these locations, be sure to let me know what you find š
